How KAP Got Started
What did you like most about your MBA experience? For me, it was the interaction among my cohort. I could throw out a challenge and was warmly welcomed by my peers - gaining insights from various people and industries.
After graduating in 2017 I was excited to jump into the alumni network and continue this amazing interaction but was left underwhelmed when I found a lack of a global experience from my Almer Matter. There are numerous groups for industry or geographical location but none that connects our unique global community.
As a bunch of Kellogg alumni we decided to fill the gap and create the first private, global, peer-driven network for ourselves and others. We've now opened the network for other MBA alumni from top business schools around the world. We are KAP Connect.

Our Network
In January 2019, we launched our platform and have welcomed over 4,200 members in over 83 countries. We invite those with an MBA degree or certificate from the top business schools to join our growing network.
Members have the ability create events within the platform sharing information and making new connections.
Members are also creating interest groups within the network based on geography, industry, function or cohort.
Whether you are looking for a new career opportunity, hiring for an executive level position, looking for a resource or advice - post a question to the network and see what information you will find and what relationships you will build.
We have a Private Deal Flow Room
Over the past few years we've heard the challenges of members either looking for investment opportunities or finding the right investor. In April 2021, we launched our own Deal Flow Room within the KAP network to facilitate the connection among these members.
We have partnered with Regiment - a digital investment bank that utilizes reg-compliant marketplace technology to connect emerging entrepreneurs with earnest investors via a syndicate network. Not only are we providing a place to connect but resources to close deals.
We meet regularly to share goals and objectives, help one another with connections, share opportunities and learn through facilitated Round Tables.

The value we bring

KAP has been a valuable resource to me on a number of levels. As an entrepreneur with limited resources, its a great space for quick advice and connections, be it operations, finance, legal or graphic design. As a professional, its also great to have access to similarly goal oriented individuals who can provide thought leadership and help navigate tough times and grey areas. Last October, I became acquainted with the KAP Connect network. I've found this network to be very valuable over the past year, not as a replacement for anything else, but rather as a supplement. Through KAP Connect, I've found an investor and board member for one of my companies, gotten a new client and revenue opportunity for myself, and have referred and introduced others for things they needed.
